Oak Street Bootmakers | Navy Trail Oxford
As winter weather has ended and spring continues to come in season I have been longing for a warm weather replacement for my Oak Street Bootmaker Camp Boot. Though I have fallen fast for the navy Horween Chromexcel beauties with a Vibram Sole, I realize that the time is soon coming for them to lie dormant, resting in my closet until autumn returns. No better option for a spring/summer shoe substitute than to return to Oak St. Bootmakers and audition the Navy Trail Oxford with the Camp Sole. They have not had to “read many lines” for me, as I can already tell they are perfect for the part.
When I first slipped them on, I realized I wouldn’t be taking them off anytime soon as they are not only one of the most aesthetically appealing footwear options for the S/S season but are also some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn right out of the box. If you are a regular here at AHD, you know I have a penchant for footwear and these are a triumph for my spring/summer wardrobe.
Don’t just take my word for it. Dive over to Oak Street Bootmakers and make the best footwear decision you have made in some time. Look, you don’t want to be that guy wearing those same ol’ boat shoes around all spring/summer do you? Time to upgrade to the Trail Oxford.
What’s not to fall head over heals for? Navy Horween Chromexcel leather. Hand-stitched moccasin construction. Camp sole. Form-fitting inner. Waxed stitching. Rawhide laces. Handcrafted in the USA. And might I add… tour de force.

These are just sexy. Saving up for a pair.
You won’t regret it Corey!
I’m totally obsessed with these right now. my next eBay dump funds will go towards these in the crepe Vib sole. I mean, look at that blue Chromexcel! and for under $250, I think they’re a steal… Don’t go jackin’ your price on me, Oak St., before I cop some:)
good lookin out on this review.
Indeed they at times seem too good to be true.
You will thank yourself years down the road when you are still wearing and loving them.
TTS, size up or down?
Palmer Trading Company in New York sells this brand at really low prices, but that Oak Street boat shoe is a piece of crap. I bought it and it pretty much fell apart after a week.
And the laces broke. There are much better made in US brands making these style of shoes.
