The Knottery
Much of my free time is spent surveying menswear. Sadly, to actually own many of the garments I covet I’d need to take out a small bank loan. Granted, in the world of apparel you often get what you pay for but who doesn’t love accessories that won’t break the bank? Look no further than the brand spanking new clothier, the Knottery.
The men behind the Knottery, Jack and Jay, inform their customers concerning the goods they sell and the brand identity they call, Attainable Style: “We are a small company who knows what the men of today are looking for (besides love). In the real world, a man should be able to afford the tie he loves and not be forced to love the tie he can’t afford. The vision: affordable style for the initiated; attainable style to the beginner. This isn’t your grandfather’s haberdasher (unless he wants it to be). We’ve created limited runs of ties we want to wear and hope you will like ‘em too.” I know I do.
Make you way over to the Knottery to get your hands on some “attainable style.”

Love these ties! The photos really show how great the fabric is. I’ll have to check this place out.
wow, these ties are right up my alley, loving them just looking at their site!
I don’t want to be a debbie downer here but the edges are surged. Emily, I’m really curious to hear your explanation of what a makes you take this stance on the fabric. Feel free to elaborate. . . . . .
The selection is pretty limited, and they don’t indicate where the ties are manufactured. I’m not a labor moralist, but $25 for a tie made in China is hardly something new or unique. I’m disappointed there isn’t more information about the quality of the product.
I own one of these ties and frankly, it’s pretty standard. And the designs I saw where nothing I haven’t seen a million times over. Sorry guys.
Who makes the lobster claw belt? I couldnt find it on their website.
It’s an old J. Crew belt… but try here: http://www.narragansettleathers.com/P9.html
