Day 5: Gitman Brothers Pocket Square
If you’re gonna purchase your pocket squares in a 3 pack at Target, don’t even bother stuffing one in your blazer. The pocket square is purely ornamental (unless you have the cotton variety and want to hand it off to a lady in need) so go big or go home. I suggest opting for a 100% silk version, as it handsomely flows out of one’s jacket and immediately adds some elegance to any ensemble.
Epaulet stocks plenty of Gitman Brothers Ashland Pocket Squares which are 16″ and made in Italy. Buy as many as you can and haphazardly jam one into your pocket every time you wear a jacket or suit. And for the love of menswear, don’t let it match the rest of your attire.

I’m really digging this advent calendar. Not as delicious as the ones with chocolate behind every door, but close.
