Alden Sand Suede Chukka Boot
January 27, 2012
Just snagged a pair of the Alden Sand Suede Flex-Welt Chukka Boots and couldn’t be more excited for them to get here. And while I’m a sucker for the Snuff Suede, the sand coloration in the chukka has been calling my name for some time now. Built on the Leydon last (which fits true to size) and Goodyear Welted, these will be on heavy rotation as spring shows up.
Find them at Epaulet or at Need Supply.

I bought a pair of these brand new on Ebay for 1/3 of the price… they took about about 10 wears to start to break in… but once they broke in, boy they’re awesome. Look good with everything.
Good to know on the break in front. Some of my Alden action has been an easy break in while others do tend to take more time.
Looking forward to getting my hands on and feet in them!
Chukka’s just keep growing on me.
Just make sure you don’t get the same color as me, you footwear fiend.
I wear a 10D in the Aberdeen. Do you think I could wear a 9.5D in the unlined suede flex welt
That should work for you my man.
