If you’ve not already seen the Bill Cunningham New York documentary put it on your short list. Words of wisdom include sage counsel such as, ”Money’s the cheapest thing. Liberty, freedom is the most expensive” and gems like, ”The wider world perceives fashion as frivolity that should be done away with. The point is that fashion is the armour to survive the reality of everyday life. I don’t think you can do away with it, it would be like doing away with civilization.”

As seen in Mr. Cunningham and with other genius pioneers, the pursuit of one’s particular passion often resembles obsession to those in the world that surrounds them. To say that it’s inspiring is the understatement of the year.
