form•function•form | Button-Stud Shell Watchband

April 23, 2012

I’ve been in the hunt for a distinct Cordovan watch strap for some time now but often find the many Cordovan NATO straps currently available are far too bulky for my vintage Omega Seamaster. And while I could opt for a traditional bar buckle watch strap, I’ve had my heart set on something more creative. My search is now over as form•function•form now offers a one of a kind button-stud strap handmade in the U.S. out of Horween’s Shell Cordovan that is custom made to fit my wrist and costs substantially less than other Cordovan carrying brands. Thank you sir, may I have another.

From form•function•form, “Mating a low-profile button stud to Horween’s absolute top-grade leather, Shell Cordovan, and custom-made to your specific wrist size, this watchband is as unique as it is beautiful. Wear the stud on the outside of your wrist to display the unique simplicity, or on the inside for maximum comfort while writing or typing–unlike traditional bands, there are no buckles or bulky strap folds between your wrist and your desk.”

The images below are of the Natural version (it also comes in Brandy and Color 8) after a few week’s wear but feast your eyes on the Stud Strap and the full product line at form•function•form.
