Billy Reid | Vintage Pocket Squares
June 13, 2012
Pocket squares pack a punch and these squares from Billy Reid just might be the new welterweight champ. Their “vintage” look will make folks wonder if you cut the fabric from your grandma’s table cloth or stole one of your great aunt Margie’s fancy napkins, which is a win. Pair that with a $35 price tag that doesn’t cut too deep and you’ve got yourself a win-win.
Head over to Billy Reid to see the full collection.

Please explain, “win”.
In the sense that they actually do look vintage and have a certain character to them that other pocket squares don’t possess. The table cloth/fancy napkin factor speaks to the folksy and unrefined design that seems counterintuitive to something as sophisticated as a pocket square.
Gentlemanly yet somehow offhanded.
I think they actually are vintage, although I like ‘em either way. Nowhere does Billy Reid qualify the ‘vintage’ in their title or say they’re reproductions. And the description reads, “Locally sourced vintage pocket square.”
