Converse was kind enough to send me a pair of their latest collaboration with Missoni featuring the Auckland Racer. Missoni’s iconic multi-stitch fabric woven with a Mazarine Blue multi-color gets paired with the Auckland Racer silhouette that hails from the early 70’s with strong success. They look so damn good I hate to actually wear them but every single time I’ve put them on complements follow. I know, I know, a post on Persol isn’t the most cutting edge on the sunglasses spectrum. But what good would it be to tip you off to some other eyewear when these babies exist? Why do anything but remind you of the best available?

Certainly choosing a pair of sunglasses is about about face frame fit (your face + right frame = good fit) but I hear kind words from the crowd about my pair damn near every time I wear them. I’m sure I’ll recommend other optical options in the near future, as it never hurts to have eyewear alternatives, but don’t say I never told you about Persol.
